Common questions

Troubleshooting

Where are my saved PDFs?

Saved PDFs appear in the Documents and Library tabs. They are organized by folder such as Inbox, Work, Personal, Forms, Receipts, or Travel.

Why does editing make a copy?

Saved PDF edits are non-destructive. Scan Pilot creates an edited copy so your original scan stays untouched.

Can I import an existing PDF?

Yes. Open Library and use + Files to import PDFs into the selected folder.

Can I import photos?

Yes. Use + Images in Library or Import Photos from the scan sheet. Images open as a Draft PDF so you can review before saving.

How do I sign or stamp a page?

Open the Draft PDF, edit a page, then use the Sign or Text/Date tools. You can drag placed signatures, text, and date stamps directly on the page.

How do I report a problem?

Email support with your device model, iOS version, what you were trying to do, and whether the issue happened while scanning, importing, editing, saving, or sharing.
